Meson Don Felipe is London’s first authentic tapas bar. Founded in 1987, the restaurant has been serving authentic Spanish dishes from Spanish regional towns. This is the perfect spot for a night out with friends or a drink with colleagues. The bar’s cosy atmosphere attracts a range of people, including young professionals and retirees. It’s a real comfort zone for the London community. We’ve tried tapas from many other restaurants in the city, but none of them can compare to the delicious and authentic Spanish food served at Meson Don Felipe.

Juan Vizcarra’s plans to open a third Mexican restaurant in New Lothrop
Since opening two Don Felipe’s restaurants in Clio and Chesaning last year, owner Juan Vizcarra is already planning a third location in downtown New Lothrop, Michigan, sometime in 2021. Vizcarra plans to open the restaurant in the former location of the Hornet’s Nest bar. The popular New Lothrop restaurant has become a local favorite. It will feature a patio for customers.
The Chesaning community has been so supportive of Don Felipe’s success that he is hinting at plans to open a third restaurant. During a recent visit, Vizcarra prepared grilled shrimp with spicy sauce and onions. The food was delicious and authentic. I tried everything on the menu, from the grilled shrimp to the margaritas.
